Eric Gilliom is an award-winning musician, actor, and entertainer whose dynamic career has taken him from his Hawaiian roots to some of the world’s most prestigious stages—including Broadway, the Grammy Awards, film, and television.
Audiences know Eric for his powerful voice, comedic timing, and magnetic stage presence. His one-man musical, White Hawaiian, has received critical acclaim for its hilarious and heartfelt celebration of his family’s legendary Hawaiian entertainment legacy. He also fronts Mick Fleetwood’s House of Rumours band, sharing the stage with music icons and delivering unforgettable performances around the world.
Eric’s musical versatility spans Rock, Soul, R&B, Hawaiian, and Broadway, and he’s performed with or opened for legends such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Steven Tyler, John Legend, Willie Nelson, Jamie Foxx, Brian Johnson (AC/DC), and Michael McDonald.
As one half of The Barefoot Natives, Eric partnered with the late Willie K in a wildly popular, Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning blend of music and comedy that toured globally and starred in the island comedy film GET A JOB, written and directed by longtime collaborator Brian Kohne—also the co-writer of White Hawaiian.
A graduate of the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago, Eric’s acting career includes Broadway roles under the direction of Debbie Allen (Carrie), television appearances (The Jamie Foxx Show), and film roles such as opposite Gene Hackman in Hoosiers.
Currently, Eric stars in Mele: The Hawaiian Music Experience, an immersive, 360-degree musical and visual journey now playing at the Maui Ocean Center’s Maui Sphere—an innovative celebration of Hawaii’s vibrant musical culture.
This October, he returns for one final, fabulous run as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show with Maui OnStage at the historic ʻĪao Theater—marking his 8th and final time playing the iconic role.
